Employee of the Month: Rebecca Herbert

Congratulations to Rebecca Herbert, our Movement Planner, for being awarded Employee of the Month for September.

This month, we voted off our value Listen and Act. At Engineius, it is hugely important that we demonstrate this value with everyone we interact with, whether that be a customer, our colleagues or a driver.

The decision was easy, Rebecca is exactly that! Someone who is a natural communicator and always makes you feel heard and appreciated.

What do you do for Engineius?

My role as a Movement Planner involves using the portal to put together well thought-out plans for the Contracted drivers.

In doing so, I ensure that we stick to the agreed customer pick-up and drop-0ff times, whilst taking into considerations driving hours.

What motivates you to do well in your role?

Building strong relationships with my drivers and knowing that they are providing an excellent service to customers. 

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

Old school Hip-hop, drum and bass or UB40

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Strength training or reading, as I do love a good book 📚

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

The friendships I have made and how no two days are the same, makes working here exciting!

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role?

Business needs come first and that things can change at any moment, so to be open to change.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

That whey protein contains maggots 🤨
