Firstly, and most importantly you need to decide when your vehicle will be ready for collection and delivery. Armed with this information, input your required pick-up and drop-off locations into the award-winning portal with your preferred dates. Engineius will then provide you with a price within 30 seconds.
If you are happy to accept the price, confirm your order and your vehicle movement instantly becomes a live job on the Engineius portal. The system will try to intelligently combine your job with others on the system which may join well together to maximize efficiencies and to reduce costs.
The idea of moving a vehicle from A to B is simple, but can you legally move someone’s car? Using a specialist company like Engineius means that the driver and the vehicle are fully insured throughout their journey.
Our network of over 600 drivers and transport agents see the jobs on the system and one of them will place your job into their plan of work. Depending on the specific criteria of your job it will only be visible to those drivers who match your requirements. For example, if you are requesting a multi-car transporter the system will direct the job to those agents with the necessary vehicle that will also match any legal requirements, and likewise if you need a detailed EV handover the job will be directed to those drivers who are appropriately trained.
On the day of your vehicle movement, you will have full visibility – so how do you track a vehicle movement?
On arriving to collect the vehicle, the Engineius driver will complete a check list and photograph the vehicle in detail and pay particular attention to any existing damage. Using the Engineius portal (which is supplied free of charge with no licence fee or minimum usage) you will see those photographs in real-time.
Once the driver commences his journey, you will receive an advanced text alert advising of the driver’s ETA
Throughout the journey you can track the vehicle on the move and keep informed on its progress.
On arrival at the drop-off destination, the driver will take another set of photographs which will show the condition of the vehicle and carry out any necessary handover.
If you require several vehicles moving, the award-winning portal will provide reports for you to see trends and report within your business.
